Travis Scott celebrates Saint Laurent vinyl collaboration, produced by Flaunt and 12on12, with performance at Colette
Last night (Dec. 18), Saint Laurent and colette hosted a cocktail event at the colette store in Paris that featured a performance by recording artist Travis Scott, who collaborated with the French luxury brand on a limited edition vinyl, produced by Flaunt and 12on12.
Followed by an in-store record signing by Travis Scott, numerous notable guests attended the private cocktail, including Saint Laurent designer Anthony Vaccarello, Catherine Deneuve, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Anja Rubik, Gaspard Noe, Amanda Lear, and others.
At the event's peak, Travis Scott took to a temporary stage on the boutique's second floor and performed eight high energy songs. 12on12 is an exciting new multi-platform brand formed by Flaunt and Cutting Edge Group that builds on their complimentary histories of boundary-pushing, boutique content and creative music services. 12on12 will invite notable figures in culture to curate limited edition, high concept vinyl records, each with a playlist of 12 tracks that have significant meaning to the curator.
Imaginative, unique packaging is a brand tenet of 12on12 and borrows from Flaunt’s long history of previously unseen paperworks and printing. Each record launch will be anchored by a show stopping celebratory moment amplified by the brand and talent partners. The global events will feature exclusive performances, record signings and other experiential elements.
On forging the union between Cutting Edge Group and Flaunt, 12on12 founder, Claudia Moross, who oversaw the brand's inaugural vinyl release with burlesque star, Dita Von Teese, states, “We are very excited to have partnered with Flaunt to build 12on12 into a luxury brand that partners cultural icons and artistic innovators. Travis Scott and Saint Laurent were a perfect addition to what we hope becomes a diverse and unique catalog of collectible, high quality vinyl.”
